Frame Rates

Acceptable frame rates (frames per second) for submission are as follows:
2K: 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 47.96, 48, 50, 59.94, 60

Note: DCPs are formatted 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, or 60 fps
While it is possible to create DCPs at the above frame rates, many playback systems are restricted in what frame rates they can play. Unless you are certain that your exhibition venue can accommodate your film’s frame rate, we strongly recommend your film be formatted 24 fps
*Simple DCP does not perform frame rate conversions, but will conform source material from drop-frame to non-drop-frame (i.e. 23.98 fps to 24 fps and 29.97 fps to 30 fps).
